prepares for the season the pool?
Background: my pool is vinyl on the floor and 22 or 25,000 gallons DE filter. Since the summer, 06 we were dealin with algae, was not so bad last year that the filters are blue, but some "finger" if some In powder were torn from by the pool. It closed at first, but I want to work this year so bad, even tho we are not planning on the opening that can, I want to start to see things and save the money I need. We have an empty hand, and my question is, before running the water, it is possible that the vacuum with a special machine? If not, what should I do before adding the water to empty, as the number of strokes and algecide or something.
You do not know if the solution is simply to shock and algecide. us a large amount of algae in shocking the pool and has always worked. in amount of discharge to use, we've added about 5 times the recommended amount. But clearly not swim in the pool until the chlorine levels were back to normal levels.
