Help! How do I remove a grey scuff mark on the back panel of our gas fire?
Is there anything I can do to remove a grey scuff mark on the black area of our gas fire underneath the flue? Basically the fire had made a burn mark so we rubbed it with a cloth (big mistake, I know now!!) - now it's taken away the black chalk-like coating and left a horrid grey scuff mark. It looks awful and we only got the fire two weeks ago!! Any help much appreciated. Thanks, Jill
Thanks for the suggestions guys, however I don't think it needs cleaning as such because it's a scuff mark where the black has rubbed away. I think I'd need something (safe) to make it go black again!! Sorry, should have been more clear in my original post!! Thanks, Jill
