VERY Painful Pap today....second one after LEEP?
I had my annual today and while the Dr. was doing my exam she called for a nurse and had her bring in a scalpel and something else to help loosen up the cervix (?) I had a LEEP done about 6 months ago and she said that sometimes after that the cervis tightens...has this happened to anyone else? What was she cutting with the blade....she said that it would help.
I've not had a LEEP done but have talked to ladies who have and I learned that sometimes LEEP can cause scar tissue to build up. Sometimes this scar tissue can cause the area to close up so to open it they have to break up the scar tissue.
