Q. I am participating in the 5 Km walk do I have to register?
A. Yes, every participant must register regardless of whether they are walking 5 Km or running 10 Km.
Q. Is there a fee to register?
A. There is a $35 fee for the 10 km run and a $10 fee for the 5 km walk.
Q. Can I register online?
A. Yes you can register online by clicking here. If you register online, you can pay the registration fee by VISA or Mastercard.
Q. When can I pick up my runner's kit?
Runner's kits will be available for pick up at the Running Room on June 5th and 6th from 1:00 to 8:00 pm.
Q. What if I can't make it to pick up my runner's kit on June 5th or 6th?
A. Runner's kits may be picked up between 8:30 and 9:00 am on the day of the run
Q. My family is participating as a group. Do we all have to register?
A. Yes, every person needs to submit a registration form.
Q. How do I volunteer for the ALS Run for Shelly?
A. All volunteers are welcome. You can register to be a volunteer here.
Q. Will you be serving food after the event?
A. Yes, we will be serving fruit, sandwiches and beverages to all participants.
Q. I've collected all my pledges...what do I do now?
A. You have 4 options:
IF YOU HAVE CHEQUES ONLY:
1) Drop off your pledges at the Running Room (#17 St. Anne Street, St. Albert)
2) Mail your pledges to ALS Run for Shelly (Suite #160, 3-11 Bellerose Dr. St. Albert, AB T8N 5C9)
IF YOU HAVE CASH &/OR CHEQUES:
3) Deposit your pledges to the TD Canada Trust (11 Inglewood Dr., St. Albert)
4) Bring your pledges with you on the day of the event
Q. Can I register for the run on the morning of the event?
A. No. All runners must register by June 6th. Register early to guarantee yourself a dry weave tech shirt.
