Joining NPT fittings through thin metal wall?
I'm wondering what the best way to do this is. Say i have two male NPT fittings and i need them to passthrough between each other through a 1/8" metal wall. How can you connect them in such a way where one fitting could be changed even if I don't have access to the other side of the wall to hold with a wrench? I mean only one fitting could use the thread in the hole so how can i join it to the other fitting? I need it to be sturdy and space is a big concern. Are there special fittings for this so I don't have to daisy-chain something to work? If so what are they called and where can i get them?

A bulkhead fitting is probably needed in your case. It will penetrate the wall and secure with a lock nut. Both sides will have typically female threads.
