Emergency Medical Training

Does Hospital Corpsman training carry over to civilian medical certifications?
I am interested in enlisting in the navy with the intention of having a career in emergency medicine after my service. Before I enlist I was wondering if all the training I am going to undergo as a Hospital Corpsman will be able to transfer back as a Paramedic, physicians Assistant, nurse, or any medical certs.
no. you will still have to take the exams in whatever state you want to be certified in..and depending on state.. you must ALSO take the classes. point of fact you will be permitted to do LESS as a certified EMT than you can as an IDC.
